This website is operated by Amanda Alfano McCabe, Sales Representative, SB Real Estate & Royal LePage Brant Realty, Brokerage.

Amanda is the person responsible for personal information collected through this site. Send any privacy question, access request, or complaint to the email above.

• Contact details you enter in a form: name, email address, and phone number.
• Property and search details you choose to share: your address, home features, timing, budget, neighbourhood preferences, and the MLS® listing or page your inquiry relates to.
• Message content, including anything you type into a message box or send to the site's chat assistant.
• Basic technical and usage information that a website ordinarily records, such as the page a submission came from and standard server logs.

We do not ask for, and you should not send, sensitive information such as SIN numbers, banking credentials, or identity documents through this website.

• To respond to your inquiry and answer questions about buying or selling.
• To prepare and send the item you asked for, such as a home value estimate, a listing match, a market update, or a downloadable guide.
• To provide real estate services if you choose to work with Amanda, and to keep the records a brokerage is required to keep.
• To send follow-up and marketing messages about listings, market conditions, and real estate services, where you have consented.

We use your information only for these purposes, or for a purpose you later agree to.

PIPEDA requires that we obtain your consent before collecting, using, or disclosing your personal information, and that we explain why. On this site, consent is express: you provide your details voluntarily and, on our lead and valuation forms, you check a consent box before submitting. The checkbox text tells you who will contact you, by what methods, and about what.

You may withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal and contractual limitations and reasonable notice. Email hey@AAMRealEstate.com and we will stop using your information for the purposes you withdraw. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide a service you asked for.

We collect only what is reasonably needed for the purposes described above, and we do not require consent to marketing as a condition of answering a question.

CASL governs commercial electronic messages sent to Canadian recipients. We send marketing emails and texts only where we have your express consent (for example, the consent box on a form) or implied consent under CASL (for example, an existing business relationship).

• Every commercial message identifies Amanda and the brokerage, with contact information.
• Every commercial email includes a working unsubscribe mechanism.
• You can reply STOP to any text message to stop texts.
• You can also email hey@AAMRealEstate.com to be removed from all marketing.

Unsubscribe requests are honoured promptly and, in any event, within the time CASL allows. We may still send you non-marketing messages that relate to a transaction or service you have asked for.

Your information is shared with the brokerage Amanda works under, and with service providers that operate this website and deliver follow-up on our behalf — for example our customer relationship management (CRM) system and our email delivery provider. These providers may store or process information outside Canada, in which case it may be subject to the laws of the country where it is held.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We disclose it otherwise only with your consent or where required or permitted by law.

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes it was collected for, and for any period a brokerage is required to retain records. After that it is deleted or de-identified.

Access to inquiry records is restricted to Amanda and the service providers that need it to do their work. No website or system can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, so please avoid sending confidential documents through web forms or email.

• Ask what personal information we hold about you and how it has been used.
• Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Withdraw your consent, or unsubscribe from marketing, at any time.
• Ask us to delete information we are not required to keep.

To make a request, email hey@AAMRealEstate.com with enough detail for us to locate your records. We will respond within the time PIPEDA allows, and may need to verify your identity first.

Please contact Amanda first — most concerns are resolved quickly. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.

This site links to third-party websites and displays MLS® listing data supplied through the Canadian Real Estate Association's Data Distribution Facility. Those third parties have their own privacy practices, which this policy does not cover.

We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The effective date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be posted here.
